BET’s The Bobby Brown Story Premieres in London

Earlier this month, the lovely people at BET International hosted an event to celebrate the launch of The Bobby Brown Story. The TV mini-series tells the story of the ‘original King of RnB’ and his tumultuous relationship with fame, the music industry and of course, Whitney Houston. It’s the first time Bobby has told his side of the story so was definitely an interesting watch with a few surprises (spoiler alert – I had NO idea about Janet!). Woody McCLain and Gabrielle Dennis, who play the duo, were in attendance and took part in a Q&A with DJ Trevor Nelson. They both spoke about how it was a very emotional experience for Bobby in particular, with scenes related to the death of his daughter and close friends proving too much at times. Check out the the trailer below.
